MARCOS LM600 Chassis: 9501

During the mid 1990's Marcos developed a racing car which became a dominant force in British and European GT racing. Although a world away from the 1963 GT Marcos, it still retained the roof line and basic shape. The 1995 car was a true racer with a flat floor and venturi tunnel to complement the lightweight composite body. Power came from a 6.3 litre Chevrolet small block V8, which was more than capable of making the car competitive.

This particular LM600 is one of the two factory cars built for the 95 season and has one of the most successful histories of all. Chris Hodgets won the BRDC Championship driving it in it's first competitive year. It also took part at Le Mans where Hodgets was joined by Erdos and Euser.

Rob Schirle and Dave Warnock then ran the car from 96 and won their class that year, and were runners up the following year.

Chassis 9501 has recently completed a test session and is race ready. It comes supplied with a spare set of wheels , data logging equipment and the required refueling equipment. This is a great opportunity to own a historically significant Marcos.
